Jackson Heights Residence
Fundamental was engaged to modernize a dated kitchen in a large prewar co-op apartment in a residential section of the Jackson Heights section of Queens.
Wanting to create a modern kitchen that was sympathetic to the prewar aesthetic of the apartment. we retained the glass upper cabinets and a well-worn hutch that was refurbished and received new doors. We then inserted new lower cabinets on both
sides of the galley kitchen, glass upper cabinets to match the existing, intermediate floating shelves, counters, tile backsplash, built-in panel front appliances, a range and hood, hardwood floors, and lighting.
